Failed miserably. Again. For the umpteenth time. A Modus Operandi that I've mastered to perfection over the past decade and a half: Get sick & tired of being sick & tired(ie, aimless, unfulfilled, out-of-shape, broke-as-a-joke, etc). Plan a uber-ambitious plan to rid myself of all my weaknesses, addictions, & failures in one preset period. Start promisingly.....for the first day....and then flame out in a ball of epic failure. Example: I successfully water-fasted for 5 days(120 hours) ingesting nothing but water; did this to "kick start" the new me and for a plethora of proven health benefits; an exercise of willpower & discipline like no other.

At the end of the 120 hours, I "broke my fast" with the crap I've literally lived on for the past 15 years: high-carb, corn-syrup filled, additives-ridden Mcdonalds. End result: Binge-ate. Binge-porn. Binge-fap. Binge-reddit. Binge-rumination.

A taste of triumph followed by Binge. Binge. Binge. I am lucky that I am not addicted to drugs, alcohol, gambling, shopping or any other "costly" vice, but still, I am an addict: Carb addict. Porn/Fap addict. Escapism(TV, Movie, Daydreaming) addict.

I refuse to give up. Does anybody have personal or anecdotal examples of successfully going cold-turkey?

Here I go: full-on cold turkey, fuck weakness, fuck failure, and above all fuck fear.

Sunday,August 7th, 2016, the date I took on all my addictions and the date I started winning.

Or is the above a grandiose empty statement, one of hundreds I've made over the past decade?

Once more unto the fray...........
