I get that I live in nyc, and I am competing with a bunch of other people that are also very attractive.

This is you trying to come up with some bullshit rationalization for why you're not getting the result you want.

Resist that. Instead, just focus on tightening up your game. Read some basic PUA/game stuff, and start practicing purposefully.

Girls in your age bracket (18-22) are really only asking themselves one thing: is he hawt? Having high social status helps...it's NYC, after all. But Looks are still the main factor.

Girls don't give a shit about your test scores. They don't give a shit about your hobbies (unless you're out there in MMA competitions in front of an audience or whatever). The fact that you listed them to qualify yourself tells me that perhaps your mindset needs work, because you don't really understand what appeals to young chicks in their prime.

Clearly your Game also needs work as well. How are you opening these girls? What conversation topics? If you're blathering on about your med school credentials, then consider making some changes. You have to make an impression.

Honestly I'm not trying to insult you but every guy on here claims to have a solid build... and be conventionally handsome...... Yet no success with women.

At some point something isn't adding up. If these things are absolutely true, I next would take a look at your style. Make sure you have clothing that fits you well to show off your frame, and that you know how to actually dress. Shoes are key!!!!!

I'm not saying to spend the ridiculous amount of money on your clothing. You need to dress well with classic styles that fit you well.

Next look at your haircut and make sure you have something that is aesthetically pleasing for your features. there is obviously something you're communicating either visually or verbally that is not turning women on.

You need to be even tougher on yourself and figure out what that is. Also if you get a phone number but the interaction was not a memorable one with good chemistry it's most likely not going to lead anywhere.

only ask women for their number if you had an outstanding experience speaking with them, and they were VERY receptive. A lukewarm exchange of a number pretty much means nothing. Try to elevate yourself to the point where your getting choosing signals from women.

If you never get choosing signals then something is off about your presentation. you should not always have to cold approach, especially if you're good looking like you say. Many pua's preach cold approach out of a scarcity of interest from women. That's why most of them are so funny looking. They can't get any attention if they don't cold approach.

if that's not you, then it's not necessary to constantly be cold approaching women. Go places where people are there to be social and wait for indication of interest from attractive woman. Clubs, bars, museums, concerts, out shopping, etc.

when a woman is interested in you she will find a way to try and let you know. Cold approach less, work on yourself more. Honestly NYC is prime hunting grounds. It should not be such a struggle up there.
