Since my blue pill days I was shy as a method of defense, to protect my ego from being wounded.

Nowadays, I'm not exactly shy but I don't have time to waste. For example, there will be people who talk about crappy subjects, like conspiracies, politics, religions and stuff I have zero interest about and I go about my work, which I guess it's normal.

But I'm also tending to be stoic. Not in the "I never smile" way but in the "I never smile without good reason" way. I moderate my emotions as much as I can (I'm far from being the ideal stoic), I don't get distracted easily (I can read books with laser focus in the subway) and when I talk to girls I approach I'm smirking (just not in the retarded "omg I'm talking with a hot girl" smile).

Judging by the results of my searches, everyone seems to advocate that being stoic isn't desirable from women. They want feels, that I ought to be fun to hang around. But in my case, wouldn't bending my ways and behavior to favor attraction essentially be the same as becoming a clown for the sake of attracting others?

Maybe I sound like "I want to be myself" but I really don't mean it like that. I'm not against improving my mannerisms if it's useful, I'm very pragmatic in that aspect. But at the same time I'm afraid that I really hamster away the potential to improve myself, which is why I decided to ask: Can you do game and be stoic if you don't enjoy being funny 24/7?

Edit: Also, from what I see, stoicism is contradicting the average red piller life, because from one side we have obviously the hedonistic approach of "attract as many women as you like, get your dick wet and do what is pleasurable for you", whereas stoicism promoted values, a philosophy of life and social duty. Am I weird for thinking it's a contradiction?
