Our promiscuous society is disgusting. Currently the population has 110 million active std infections. This means 1/3 of men and woman have an active infection. The same link shows 20 million NEW infections every year, HPV (the STD that condoms don't prevent) accounts for 3/4 of those new infections. Women are more likely infected, at a 6/5 ratio women to men. The shitlibs will hamster that women are infected more easily, but here at TRP we can say with some certainty that higher infection rates among women have at least something to do with the fact that a significant minority of the male population is celibate or nearly so, while the average female has experience riding the CC these days.

If you think this is alarmist, the CDC itself admits that its data is probably optimistic:

" Many cases of STDs — such as chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis — continue to go undiagnosed and unreported, and data on several other infections — such as HPV, herpes and trichomoniasis — are not routinely reported by medical centers to the CDC. As a result, the CDC's yearly reports on sexually transmitted infections capture only a fraction of the true burden of STDs in America, the CDC says."

I have my own methods, but I want to hear the safety protocols of other experienced men. What steps do you proactively take to lower your chances of exposure? Condom use etc goes without saying. I'm talking about a screening process.
