The act of picking up girls by generating attraction, generating comfort, then taking her home works extremely well. Your imaginary version of pick-up doesn't work at all.

Women you're not already fucking on a regular basis aren't going to show up at your apartment for sex because you're just so gosh darn hot in your pictures and your messages to them are so manly and alpha. You have to meet them at a bar five minutes away, talk for a couple of hours, flirt, and make the encounter fun and interesting for them. And yes, probably buy their drinks, too. You have to play the game, not skip the game.

And you don't meet a woman and have her at your place sucking your dick 10 minutes later. You spend a couple of hours talking with a girl, having fun with her, and her with you, getting to know each other, and making her feel both attracted to you and comfortable with you.

If a girl shows up to meet you at a cafe (especially after telling you she knows you're a player who's after sex), she's open to the possibility. She's possibly down. But you have to capitalize on her being down. She's not going to just show up at your apartment because you sent her a message.
