Okay so short backstory. Ex plays strip poker with three guys. I don't know about this until several months after. Lack the balls to do anything. Recently, I went on a cruise and kissed a girl. Told my then girlfriend and she panicked. Made up excuses about "problems", being stressed, me acting mean and tough, and me being different since the beginning of the year (that's when I started reading TRP). (And I haven't been acting meaner, I've just stopped pedestalizing her and bowing to her every request.) Then breaks up with me. Her main reason she told me afterwards was so I could "figure things out for myself". So she said we could be friends and potentially go out later. Now that I'm slightly more experienced in my TRP understanding, do I refuse to be her backup boyfriend? Do I friend zone her? Do I cut off all contact?The reason I'm asking is because this is my first LTR breakup and I have never really thought about it. One more thing, LTR's really are quite pointless.
