This one will be a bit out of the ordinary. But i am from an island of dark people, i have that islands blood in me partially, but i am also white and i look just plain white.

I would like to come back to the island to work and take over family businesses, but it is hard to make local connections sometimes because i am not traditionally local and did not go to a traditional school.

Whenever i am back home and try to make new friends people are hesitant because i did not grow up with them etc. ill get called racial slurs.

So how would i deal with this? I want to move back because itd be a great opportunity for me finanically, but i dont want too be lonely and without connections.
