So I've been lurking TRP for a year now. I've been applying the core TRP principles from day 1 (lift etc). I just can't get out of stage 4 (depression phase).

A year has passed and my life hasn't significantly improved.

  • I can't find a job I love. I've got a job that pays well, but I don't like it (so it doesn't make me happy). I can't just quit and look for what I love, there's some luck involved (chances need to be offered). I can't go live in the street
  • I've talked to 300 women over the past year. Apparently I need to improve my game even more, cause I don't seem to be able to lock down the women I like (HB9 or higher). My bar is very high (HB9 ex)
  • My body improved, but I'm very tall and of course it takes a while
  • I keep on wanting an LTR. Also, copied from the 5 stages: "Getting laid by shallow, obnoxious women has become dull and unrewarding". I know women's nature and I don't hate them at all, I'm just not good enough (yet?).

All of this boils down to working very hard each and every day, without the result that I want. I start feeling like it's not worth the hassle. When I started applying TRP there was a lot of hope in me. A lot of logic and reasoning as well, when you become high value, you become attractive. I just don't seem to be able to become high value (enough) to attract the ones I want (alpha widower/oneitis/..). Also, none of it matters, I'm nothing in the universe, ..

I know TRP 'condemns' motivation and replaces it with discipline. Discipline to work hard, keep on improving. Sometimes you just need some proof to keep going. Proof would be achieve the result I want.

I know there is no other way, and I'm wallowing in self-pity. But I guess for some the way to the top is just too long and too steep, and they will never make it.
