I think guys jump on TRP a little too young. It doesn't hurt to go out in the world, take a few lumps and then figure out what answers you're looking for. At your age, it should be something that's at the edge of your mind, and then you come back to it when you have a specific question.

Too many young guys cram TRP and then start getting doctrinaire about it. They get in that weird mode like religious converts get, where they want to crush all heresy and study all the sacred texts. That can become its own source of trouble, and we see it all the time on this sub.
