I ended a 5 month non-exclusive relationship at the start of the year. After going on a road trip with friends which ended up in her city around christmas, I ended up crashing with her for christmas and over new years. Although I enjoyed our time together, two things lead me to cut off contact with her after my stay: she seemed very insecure about whether she was enough for me; and I became aware that she had been doing cocaine on at least a weekly basis since we moved apart a month prior to my visit, including a coke fueled NYE with three guys which she told me about. I stopped initiating physical contact with her after that, and 30 mins before leaving town, told her that I won't be staying in touch with her. What ensued was 20mins of her tears, minimal explanation from me, followed by limited anger by her. Told her we can't be friends, deleted her number, deleted her off fb, and haven't spoken to her or about her since. Been seeing other women since then, but nothing too serious.

She's coming back to my current city to graduate this weekend. I'll probably run into her while I'm out and about drinking and reconnecting with friends who are in town.

I have a strong feeling that her ego took a serious hit by my somewhat sudden rejection, and that she's been reading a bunhc of feminist BS and partying/slutting it up the last few months to make herself feel validated. I feel kinda bad for her situation, but can't invest in women who choose that lifestyle.

TLDR Feel kinda sorry for the lifestyle choices and unhappiness of an ex-plate. How do I deal with an ex-plate that I dumped? Is it worth throwing one last low-effort fuck her way, or best to just remain polite and ignore her?
