Start some sort of online retail store. You can do it from home. I did it at 21 with a budget of $2000 and a broken laptop in my parents house. Ended up creating a multiple six figure business within 6 months. I literally bought items off ebay and resols them at a higher price to people in my niche

Here's one I've always thought about but will never do because it's just not in tune with my interests or personality:

I think there are a lot of mom and pop restaurants/quick eat places that could benefit from a basic website with some pictures, store hours, contact info, etc.

How many times have you Googled a local eatery to eat only find next to no info about the place? There's a big disconnect between restauranteurs and technology, which is why we face the problem. They have next to no advertising and no idea where to begin.

I think you could easily make a good amount of money,

Designing cookie cutter wordpress websites for local restaurants for a fixed sum (say $2,000)
Create a recurring cashflow from hosting their websites by charging a % markup on server costs +++ more $ if you're willing to do monthly backend stuff for the client if they, say, want to update their menu, etc.

For point 1, obviously that figure can increase if you're willing to take professional photos of the food. It all depends on how in depth you want to get. I've heard of people spending less than a few hours to create an entire website on wordpress, start to finish. You just use a nice cycle of templates that you buy, funded by your restauranteur's purchase. After you've built up a bunch of templates just cycle the ones you have. Edit them a little. At the end of the day you just have to impress a boomer (the restaurant owner) which isn't too hard.

I think the hardest part would be getting your first 3 to 5 clients. Once you've done that you can go to restaurants with examples of what they can expect from you.

Targeting restaurants is the easiest part. Just do a Google search of the restaurant and see if anything comes up. If it doesn't, they're a perfect target.

Don’t do anything new. Instead, double down on what you already know.

There is massive market for video editing skills like yours- try signing up with a platform like Upwork.com and/or Fiverr.com and see where that takes you. The team I run at work employs 5-7 upworkers at any given time for all types of jobs that the team doesn’t have the skills or time to do.

This approach can also pay huge dividends in the future, since you’ll be honing your current skill set and side-hustling at the same time.

Working on my own car is a passion of mine. I used to be a mechanic and don't want to do auto mechanic stuff on the side its too much work for little pay.

This isn't really a "side hustle" but back in the 90s, I had two mechanics that bartered their time and skills for mine. So instead of paying me $ for legals service, they'd do a brake job or a tune-up. We'd either trade straight up or even it up with (heavily discounted) cash.

Just a thought.

What language are you learning? Sometimes coding schools over-hype how easy it is to get a job after bootcamp. In your shoes I'd spend extra time learning programming and start building an app. You don't need to monetize, it's just good to show employers. Design is critical if you want to raise money, so CSS or iOS/Android design might help. Maximising programming skills might not pay off short term, but long term it could be a good bet.

I have a weekend side hustle. I caddy at a local country club. It’s not a huge time commitment ~5 hours total per round. Money is great and under the table. It’s easy as hell and you get a nice walk. I would have to assume that there are hella country clubs in the bay and I’m sure some have caddy programs

Why are you spending so much for housing? You can rent a two bedroom in actual SF for $2500 total.
