Background : I am a 21 year old male, currently in university. I been part of TRP community for over five months, this is my first time posting on /asktrp. I figured this is the best place to ask.

Body : In my culture people are often fearful of dying alone. By alone I mean, with no kids, or wife. I never understood such fear. I traveled alone to different countries, lived alone for long period of time, went out alone many times, and all these times I never felt lonely. Essentially, I learned that I don't need anyone to make me feel good, or entertain me. I can solely rely on myself. I have a good social circle of friends and I don't complain about it. But in this particular subject I am referring to wife and kids. I always had people I can socialize with, girls to have sex with, and it all just makes me happy. In my perspective, we come alone and we go alone. I don't plan on having kids or marrying, as I am an egoist that just wants to enjoy life without any burden. If I continue such a lifestyle would I eventually regret being dying alone when i'm old? When someone tells me they are afraid of dying alone, it seems like such a beta mentality to me.
