Without going into too much detail, I never thought I'd be in this situation. I've only been reading TRP for a bit more than a month. I was pure beta before and had only ever been on one date in my life (29 now), never even coming close to even kissing a girl before. Last weekend I went out with my friend and some of her friends and ended up going home with one of her friends.

I did so much wrong. I didn't bring a condom (so no f-close, still virgin). I was completely wasted. She was even more wasted, to the point of not remembering most of the night.

So I opened a line of communication by text afterward. She had to make sure we used protection (n/a). Now she's making some small talk by text like "how's your week been".

I don't want to fully blow her off because she's been cool so far, but what is the recommended approach to be tactful with a friend of a friend who wants to make small talk by text? Should I just play the beta orbiter role for a little bit to see if it leads to another hook up and just drop it if it's not heading that way? Like, we barely even talked leading to the hookup so is this just her trying to build some rapport?
