Long story short. I am a 40 year old man basically starting life over after a divorce in which I was taken to the cleaners, and 2 previous unsuccessful LTRs. I've never had much luck with women, and feel like I've had to settle most of the time. Part of this is low self esteem and depression, but I am not here to make excuses. Currently I am working on self improvement. This means nutrition and lots of physical activity. In the past 4 months I've lost over 30 lbs, so I feel good physically. Mentally, however, I am a wreck. After 'taking the red pill' I've come to a realize that basically, my interactions with women were basically all wrong. This realization has caused me to become extremely bitter and angry at women..dating, and relationships.

My question is twofold:

Is it too late for an old dog like me to learn new tricks? Is TRP just for young guys? Secondly, I need some pointers on how to get over this "anger" phase. I am extremely bitter right now, and although I am doing my best to mask it, its causing me a bit of an existential crisis.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks to all.
