So the TRP-oriented relationship advice tends to focus on "dump the bitch and don't be captain save-a-ho".
Indeed it is obvious that being that Captain is a bad idea.
However, where do you draw the line between legitimately helping your girlfriend/LTR/wife or just sticking with her throughout her lows, and "saving a ho"?
The thing is, if I am in LTR and one day I get fat, fall into depression, start drinking, lose my job, and so on, I want my partner to give me a lot of room to help myself and recover before dumping me. Would it make sense to treat your LTR in the same way?
My particular situation is that my LTR of 1.5 years, who previously ticked all the LTR material boxes, has now deleted all social media, went no contact with friends, doesn't talk to me when she gets home, slacks off at work and hit the rock bottom on self confidence, all the while complaining that people are trying to change her and she is not as good as everyone thinks she is.
The advice from my previous thread (which is irrelevant here) is that she's either cheating (ergo, dump the bitch) or she's just unfit for LTR (ergo, dump the bitch).
