I’ve read the rationale male, 48 laws of power, sidebar material, etc. Etc. and I can’t help but bring it back to a common denominator across all of these kinds of books: one has to be a man without feelings, essentially a psychopath. A man in a constant game of back and forth, hot and cold. Am I missing something here, or is that just the reality of the matter and rather than ‘hating the player’ or ‘hating the game’ one should just adjust themselves into it accordingly? It just seems like the previously mentioned type of books preach that were basically robotic evolutionary beings that live useless lives unless X Y and Z connect in a certain sequence in both ourselves and, for example, a potential female partner. And if that sequence falls off slightly then everything just blows up into a shit show. Am I looking at it the wrong way or is this just how it is?
