Ok some background. I'll keep it short. Exchange student in foreign country. Leaving in the end of the month. Met a girl on Tinder on late December, best connection I've had with a girl conversation and mindset wise. Second date after 3 weeks due to holidays. We went for cocktails. We made out both in the first and second date. Third date, I invite her home to watch a TV show. We order some pizza watch a couple of episodes and I start making out with her. And here it all falls apart.

She says that she doesn't want to proceed any further. I say it's ok we can go as far as you are comfortable going. She says, I didn't understand, she doesn't want it at all. She says she doesn't feel attracted to me that way. I pause. I tell her then why the fuck are you going out with me. She says she was hoping she would get more attracted as we went out, but this didn't happen, maybe if I was staying here more (I'm leaving in two weeks). We start chatting a little bit more, I tell her I see her as something more than that, she says "I know, I'm sorry", then I take her back to the bus station for her to go home (we made out a little while standing there, wtf?) and then I said her goodbye. I told her that this is probably the last time you'll see me. She said it doesn't have to be like that. (What the fuck does she expects me to switch off a light and just "see her as friend?) That was the worst rejection I've ever experienced. It was like going to the boss's office waiting to get a promotion and instead you get fired. It made me physical sick to my stomach after.

I know trp is about learning from the experience and I appreciate the stranger's, unbiased opinion. Where in the process did I fuck up?

1) Low SMV in General, except conversation/personality wise with her

2) Became too needy with her, put her on a pedestal she never saw me as a guy she would fuck. Although I kept messages to absolute minimal and mostly texted her to tell me when she's free.

3) It's her fault, I didn't make many mistakes. She fed me that bullshit line that she gets attracted after she knows a guy for a long time (trp says that's a load of crap, I simply wasn't the chad guy for her)

4) A mixture of everything above

So two questions.

a) What is the lesson to be learned here

b) How I proceed with her in the next days. Do I complete ignore her and see her as a valuable experience or contact her again. My beta mind kinda wants to see her again even if it doesn't really makes much sense since I'm leaving.
