So, a little background here. I broke up with a LTR about a month ago, and her inner circle were my only group of friends. Now, we obviously can't interact anymore. I've been in this city for 6 years, and I met all my friends from residence and after. Now, most of them are gone (a good 90%).

it's not that I don't have a group of friends, I do. It's just all they do is 9-5, then loaf and smoke on the weekends. nothing that brings value. if I go out, it'd be with other group(s) of people, but they aren't really what I'm looking for in terms of value (all they do is party and drink).

what do you suggest I do? I was looking at going to meet ups in the city, but just looking around a little bit, there's no one my age (I'm 23). a lot of them are really old.

I do, however, live in a neighbourhood of young professionals. anyways, just wondering what you guys would do in a situation like mine, or if you guys went through the same thing.
