What should be my top priority in life: self improvement or money making?
You would think a question like that would be a slam dunk: of course money-making leads to financial freedom which leads to many more benefits in life, right? Self improvement is just a shallow narcisstic path, right?
Not so fast. I'm looking at a career change which will put me in competition with a much brighter class of people than I'm dealing with now. I'm going to have to raise my game and be totally on point with learning ability, social skills, diet & fitness, everything. Seeking out a doctor for certain prescriptions may also be necessary. (don't ask what this career change is, I don't want to divert the topic)
To use the old "cart before the horse" analogy, it's almost as if self improvement is the horse, and money making is the cart. Now what does everyone think of my question?
