After reading that story, you could be someone I know and I could be that guy 2ish months ago ... That being said, go for it. I'm just getting practice in.

I would advice against texting her because you seem to have some attachments to this girl, but climbing the tree and scrapping your knees from the fall will probably help you more than me telling you not to climb it, because you'll fall and scrap your knees. Go for it.

Also, work on your oneitis, the point of calling out oneitis is not to make less out of what you feel for a girl (ok it is, but not the main point) or to try to tell you the cool guys bang different women all day, (ok it is, but also not the main paint) it's because having oneitis is extremely crippling, you second guess your self, you put your wants/needs in second place just for a chance to gain the girl's favor among many other toxic behavior that is bad for you.
