It depends on how you define success so being in the top 20% percent is really not a great goal in my opinion. It is all about your reference point and who you are comparing yourself to.

If you are born white, in the USA, to a a middle class family you are already in the top 20% globally having done nothing.

If you can bench 315 you are in the in the top 20% strength wise.

Take a guy that moves to Costa Rica. Surfs all day, hangs out, enjoys life, and lives in a shack on the beach. Bangs vacationers and makes some spending money giving lessons. Guy is not "Red Pill 20%" but he is successful at living how he wants to and is happy.

It's all relative. Just do you and be the best person you can be.

Status can be monetary, physical, or social. A dude may not be good looking or rich, but if he has a ton of friends and gets invited to cool shit he can get women easily. Having all three definitely helps though.

I read a few surveys done on popular dating websites match and cupid. The survey was how many male profiles women found above average. Profiles that showed the best the man can offer. This is systematically built into the matching process that women filter through. They found that 20% are voted by women as above average. 20%!!! Let that sink in for a second. So you have to be fucking, brad pitt himself, with a multimillion income with several homes all over the world, and a social life among the A-list stars. According to the modern women, THAT is average. How fucking over-entitled and pathetic is that?

Who gives a shit about the top 20%. What you should care about is whether or not you're getting what you want out of your relationships with women, which it clearly does not seem like you are.

I make 40k a year; live in Los Angeles; am tall, athletic, and thin weighing in at 160 at 6'1", and I do not have any trouble with women. I am dating the hottest girl in my office and I am spinning three plates on the side. Girls don't give a shit if I make 40k a year or drive a 13 year old Mazda. All they care about is if you turn them on and you are fun and you take charge.

There is a large misconception surrounding game with new TRP members. Game is not marketing a shit product as something that it's not, it's not tricks, and it's not "fake". Game is the most important aspect of your SMV, because SMV is based on social status (of which income and looks are factors of, but not extremely important).

There are guys that make 1/4 what you do and are likely shorter, uglier, and dress much worse. But they clean up because they have decent game. Game is a persons understanding to social environments and situations and to other methods of covert communication between the sexes. In it's very basic sense, game is what women look at to insure that you have experience with women and in social situations, which is much more valuable than your genetics or income.

I would add "at least moderately charming". I've seen more than one rich, fairly handsome guy get shot down because he couldn't shut the fuck up about his Audi and high paying job. They speak for themselves, you're more than just your job and car.

You're right though that there are dealbreakers. A fat, smelly neckbeard with excellent game should be proud if a girl even considers having sex with him. Luckily the fix for those problems is more straightforward.

There's a lot of variables as others have mentioned, I'd consider myself just breaking the top 10% when I look at all major factors but if you want the easiest answer in the world: People will let you know.

If you break the top 20%, you know by the amount of women and men that respond positively to you with little or no effort. If you never get approached by cute women or get IOI's just standing in line for a coffee, you aren't top 20% looks wise.

If women come up and feel your muscles you are top 10% body wise.

Income is easy to place yourself on a scale, of course that doesn't help you much until you are in a position to show it off or talk about it. Plenty of guys making under 40k a year dress as well as guys making 6 figures so really when you are just out alone in the world you are being judged solely on your complete appearance.

So back to basics, if women approach you or give you signals they'd like you to approach fairly often you are a top 20% male. If it is constant, you are top 10%, if basically every person you see is mesmerized by you, you would have model type looks or be famous, placing you in the top 1%

Use estimated statistics. I will lowball some here:

20% of the US = obese 20% of the US = beta 20% of the US have no hobby 20% of the US dress poorly 20% of the US = unconfident 20% of the US have shit jobs 5% unemployed (more since they don't count those that aren't seeking work)

Pull yourself out of those categories and you'll be in the top 40% easily.

To break through to top 20% from here is challenging, but possible. Lift, eat, and sleep well. Exercise discipline. Socialize. Fuck. Make money.

Never stop improving yourself physically, socially, mentally, or spiritually.
