In Atlanta on vacation. Ran into two girls on the street today, also visiting. Both super hot. One, unfortunately was super drunk. They were walking back to their airbnb.

Not-drunk girl seems super interested in everything I have going on, and has me put my number into her drunk friend's phone and turns the sound on, saying that drunk girl will probably be asleep soon. I oblige her and we go our separate ways.

An hour later, I get a call from drunk girl's phone, but it's a third friend that's staying with them. She invites me over to party and I tell her I gotta shower and will be over in an hour. When I hit them up a few minutes before I'm about to head over to their place, nothing....

Some possible failings:

I was out by myself. The girl throwing IOIs asked where my friends were. I simply told her that I was traveling on my own (true, a professional conference got cancelled and now it's just a vacation.)

I didn't ask them very much about themselves. Drunk girls tits were literally hanging out, so that was a topic of conversation, and not-drunk girl and I just gave names, talked about what we were doing in town, how clubs are sparse because of CoV, and skateboarding (I was skating when they caught my eye).

I might have been a little bit too nice/needy by offering to walk them the rest of the way to their place. The one girl was literally so drunk that she was picking flowers out of gardens and trying to eat them (the ridiculousness of a very hot girl in a red dress with her tits out eating dirty plants is just amazing), so I kind of took pity on them. She was also leading the map following and was about to walk in the wrong direction. They declined and I guess found their way back.

I was originally going to write my number on not-drunk girls hand, but had a ballpoint instead of a sharpie, and it wouldn't write, so she offered up drunk girl's phone instead.

Is this just capriciousness? Not too hung up on it, was just surprised because the IOI was so strong initially and the ghosting felt like it came out of nowhere.
