Onetis is generally used for men, to describe their deluded infatuation over a current, ex, or potential girlfriend.

Alpha widowes are women who are obsessed with an high value ex. The ex have discarded them.

In my mind the terms are completely different as men love differently from women.

It is more difficult for an alpha widow to recover because there aren't as many high valued men.

For men, any young woman can be a high valued one.

Oneitis in a man, is basically the mental operating assumption, that one particular woman is the best and only real match for him. This results in him excusing her bad behavior, subjugating himself to her, and anything else under the sun to placate her, to keep this assumed one, and only true match in his sphere. Moving on to other women, doesn't happen, because a man has to work to meet women, and he won't do that work if he believes he's already found his one, unique counterpart. In his mind, he must have her, the specific individual.

When a woman is an alpha widow, it's a bit different. It isn't necessarily that she is hung up on the alpha (the individual), and he is the one and only for her. As a matter of fact, she may outwardly despise the alpha that widowed her. Her mental hurdle is the vagina tingles, that the alpha inspired in her. She'll easily move onto other men, because it takes no work on her part, but her subconscious desire for the intense vagina tingles that the alpha inspired in her, will be there, and she will measure each subsequent partner against that standard. Outwardly she may express disgust toward the alpha that widowed her, and express affection for the next best thing she finds, but under her surface develops a dissonance that is irreconcilable. She wants the "nice guy" personality traits, but the men who display those traits, don't produce the tingles that the previous alpha did. She carries this dissonance forward into each subsequent relationship.

So to try to simplify a little, oneitis is a mental hurdle experienced by men, over the significance of a single person / relationship. The female condition of alpha widow, is the dichotomy of yearning for the sexual satisfaction that comes from the best Alpha fucks of the past, and measuring every subsequent partner against that.

TRP is about discussing sexual strategy, and getting what we want. We've noticed that women don't get over being alpha widowed. We can't control that, and we can't change them, so we focus on ourselves, something we can change.

Oneitis is emotional masturbation over a particular person.

All alpha widows are going to come with a oneitis hangover. Just be prepared for it if you date an alpha widow. Most 9's and 10's on the market are going to be alpha widows. Especially 10's. Any 10 that's not an alpha widow is probably a porn superstar or call girl raking in gobs of money.
