1 month contracts.

When I notice I am getting addicted to something or something is getting in the way, I will cut it from my life for 1 month. At the beginning of the month I will physically write myself a contract and sign it. I will then stop drinking/gaming/redditting/TVing etc. Maximum 2 afflictions per month to keep it manageable.

The sense of accomplishment is great. I always do whatever I was doing less after the month is up. Builds my dedication to sticking to my word. Teaches me discipline.

If I am feeling a little off I go through a quick check list. Did I get a enough sleep? Am I de hydrated? Do I need to take a dump? Am I hung over? Do I need to rub one out? Am I worrying about something that I can't control ? 9 times out of 10 I can figure out why I am feeling off.

What helped me lose a lot of weight was getting a night physical job for the summer.

I slept through breakfasts, woke up for dinners, ate light suppers and thought "eh, I can make some food for the night before I leave", then went to do some time wasting shit, then realized "ok, I have no time now, guess I'm hungry tonight".

Bam bam bam, 8kg in 3 months.

Morning gym is best gym.

Go lift before you do anything else. If you have to wake up at 7 for work, get up at 5 and go lift. It'll become so easy to do and so much more enjoyable.
