Is it worth giving a fuck about? If so you stand your ground. Step in front of that motherfucker, stare him straight in the eye and tell him to fuck off, he's not more important then you. If it's not just tell him he's embarrassing himself (like talking too loud at the library) shrug and walk away. My general rule is it an attack against me or someone I care about I'll stand up, if not I'll say my piece and leave. If it's stupid I'll ignore it.

Honestly, if you're listening to trp, you'll have more to lose than the other person. Better to not let it get physical, you never know how it could turn out legally.

I find men with low smv who are frustrated in general will sometimes look for fights. It's more of a statement about them and they're basically cockblocking you.

When i was younger and someone fucked with me or my friends, i'd always take it as an attack on my honor. For instance, i got my ass kicked one time when i tried to fight three dudes by myself. So fucking stupid. Even when i'd win, it was so stupid and chicks who saw it thought i was crazy.

Best response is something like, "really dude?" Waiting for him to turn around (he'll probably ignore you)

Echoing the other commenters here with lift...

I found myself in a similar situation a while back and was happy with how I handled it - hopefully you can pull something useful from it.... (paraphrasing cuz it was some time ago)

Was in the express (10 items or less line) at the grocery store buying a bottle of water.

Guy in front of me has a few items but then his girlfriend shows up with a full basket of like 25 items (I counted).

So I stare at them and their basket, hoping they would engage. They ignore, but I know they see me looking.

I remark, "you know this is the 10 items or less line."

Nothing.

I say it again loudly, so that people all over the line hear.

The guy turns around, "yea?"

I repeat my comment.

"So what?" he says.

I calmly respond. "So you've got more than 10 items, you should be in one of the normal lines."

"Mind your own business" he says and tries to turn around.

I step in front of him, "What you're doing is disrespectful and rude to everyone else in the line behind you, so it's my business."

He says "what are you going to do about it?" (I mean who says that?)

I step into his face very close and stare him down. Mind you this guy is like a foot shorter than me. He looks away.

I tell him "You're being a jackass, and if you want to continue being a jackass, then I'm going to get the manager to deal with you." then I raise my voice significantly "Now be a decent human and get out of this line."

It called the attention of the staff as well. The guy looks around at everyone looking at him, then huffs and puffs and him and his girlfriend leave the line.

... Breaking it down, I pointed out what the shitty behavior was and made him be accountable for it. Of course, I am not going to fight someone for a line in the grocery store but I think my forcefulness and the social pressure made him do it.

Jerks like this get away with stuff cuz most people are not confrontational.

I don't think lifting will make much of a difference in these situations. I've got a mate who's 6'4 and built like a brick shit house and still gets the same treatment. You're not going to beat up someone in a library if they refuse to lower their voice are you? And they won't be intimidated for that very reason. Alternatively, there's always going to be someone bigger and stronger than you so I don't thinking lifting is solid advice here.

I wonder if height/body type factors into this. Id be more inclined to fuck around with someone shorter and skinnier than someone who could kick my ass for being a troll. That being said, the given is lift and get big. =earn respect.

Otherwise just be witty and embarass or insult them to the point that they stop being annoying pricks.

Pick your battles!Seriously!In those confrontations you can lose much more than you can gain.

At my uni it is common practice to push in front of queue and be loud in the library.If the staff and other people don't care about it,there isn't much you can do.You can only come off as whiny.

Bigness isn't that important in those situations.I am usually the one who pushes in front,have even pushed in front of soldiers.So what?What they gonna do?I just give them a condescending look,or outright ignore them.

If you cannot create the all vs. 1 group dynamic,or cannot get the staff to remove them,do not bother with it.

NO (serious physical) violence!We can crap and theorize here about this alpha stuff.But when shit hits the fan,people can get killed or injured.Do NOT think that "this cannot possibly happen to me".

I know this isn't the regular "LIFT BRAAAH!" alpha-advice.But it is the wisest thing to do.

if someone pushes in front of you in a queue, and you tell them to move but refuse?

When they get to the front tell the person that would be serving them that they jumped the line and not to serve them until they get to the back and wait the same as everybody else.

If someone is speaking loudly in a library, and you tell them to lower their voice but the refuse?

Instruct whoever is at the desk to not serve them and contact security.

Use your brain to ensure your authority.
