Hi guys, I'm thinking about breaking up with my 4 year LTR. The problem is, we will see each other right before 24th. She already bought me a gift for Christmas (I will buy her something too). We are invited together for New Year's Eve at my best friend house. I have no idea how to handle it. Breaking with her just before Christmas seems awkward, especially considering exchanging gifts. On the other hand, breaking up after Christmas, right before 31 will be awkward too, because she won't have a party to attend. I know many of you will tell me to just do it, but she is a really nice girl and I have many good memories of her. Because of that, I want to perform break up as smooth as possible.
