I'm among the large majority of straight men who respect a woman's right to reject my advances. I also believe in the modern, feminist definition of consent/rape; I would never pressure a woman to have sex, nor would I use lies, manipulation or emotional coercion to get a woman into bed.

Why, then, is it a figurative death sentence when I reject a woman who I am not attracted to? Why does "big is beautiful" trump my right to be attracted to fit, youthful women who won't buckle at the knees and miscarry because they can't stop eating fast food? Why do media beauty standards get brought up as a defense every time I pick pubes out of my teeth from some patriarchy-fighting bookworm? Why am I called a "slut-shamer" if I don't want to be among the dozens of cucks swapping sperm, STD risks and self-esteem with the same girl?

Why, as a man, am I not allowed to have the same unrealistic standards that women do? Go look at Craigslist. Divorced, 48, herpes, six cats, wants a man with "no baggage" lol. Reverse the gender and see how many results (don't) come in.

Put it this way, commenters are ready to call me a misogynistic, trad-con troll because I don't want to sleep with large, hairy, risky women. Yet, if this was written by a woman, in regards to beefcake bros with neckbeards and harems of side bitches, it would be empowering somehow.

Basically, for straight women, no means no, end of story. As it should be. But for straight men, no means "get back in the kitchen, stop voting and kill yourself, so I can chug Mountain Dew and take vape hits of Trump juice." This is messed up. I have a right to consent, too, and no 500 pound fashion model is gonna convince me otherwise. I thought biology, not "choice," dictated sexual preference... Suggesting otherwise is what the extreme religious right did to gays in the 90s, remember?

I wonder when affirmative consent laws will apply to all genders, including mine. I don't "choose" what gets me hard. If I could pray the standards away, I would, but again, see the last sentence of the prior paragraph. If feminism is all about consent, why can't they take rejection?
