I've found in my experience that women who put that on their profile have done it in the past and gotten pumped and dumped.

It doesn't mean that they won't do it again, they are just trying to show that they won't be that easy - but if you have decent game then they will be. Every time.

Women are as thirsty for relationships as men are for sex. A decently attractive woman can have no-strings-attached sex with a pretty awesome dude at the drop of a hat. That guy isn't going to enter a committed/exclusive relationship with most of those women though. This is the defining feature of the sexual marketplace. Women are the gatekeepers of sex and men are the gatekeepers of relationships.

Go and read dating advice columns targeted at women. The conventional wisdom is that to *get* a relationship, a woman should withhold sex. The reasoning is twofold. First, they weed out the guys only looking for easy sex. Second, there is an opportunity for a deeper vibe/connection to build, which hopefully keeps the guy interested once the sex barrier has been crossed.

If a woman uses this approach for a period of time, and fails to secure an LTR, she will always blame the men. "The men only want sex!", she'll complain. Of course, it's quite obvious from this sub and elsewhere that a solid majority of men do want a relationship. The problem is that women focus their attention on a small minority of men that have an easy time getting casual sex and are somewhat cynical about women and relationships. These women, having tasted these hot, high-status men, have a hard time getting excited about the guys that are willing to commit to them. So they stay in this sort of holding pattern, hoping that their next sexy Tinder match will actually become their boyfriend.

If you get women to speak candidly about their experiences with Tinder, you'll start to notice how "broken" it has made them. The guys look at it very differently. They are happy if they are meeting hot girls and smashing. Women tend to get very effectively seduced by very charming and attractive men, and then completely abandoned. That massive high followed by a more dramatic crash. A guy's bad experience is just kind of boring. Go on a date and she doesn't want to come back to your place, or she's just not that talkative and it ends after an hour. We don't get pumped and dumped much. So, to a large extent, it's not that they don't want to fuck, it's that they want you to text the next day.

What should you do with the girls that put up disclaimers? As others have pointed out, you can still date them and often still have sex with them on the first date (or usually second/third worst-case). I normally assume the girl will put up some resistance to hooking up. I generally put girls into three categories. Girls that are explicit about wanting to hookup in their profile or messages, girls that don't mention it one way or the other, and girls that have a not-DTF disclaimer. For a given guy, their prospects will sort somewhat neatly from least attractive to most attractive along this axis. If I go out with a disclaimer girl, she will normally be among the most attractive that I am texting with from apps. I also generally need to know there's some common interest we can talk about for a while, to make it to the sex part.

Keep a few things in mind. An attractive girl may say she wants to "go slow" and be pretty resistant to getting in bed the first few dates. That same girl usually has multiple, steady FWBs there to satisfy her sexually whenever she wants. I have very frequently been *that guy*. TRP is, to a considerable degree, about being *that guy*. You can meet girls on Tinder and become *that guy* to them. I suggest using the same strategy as women. Make sure your needs are met with reliable FWB. The less desperate/thirsty you are on dates, the better. If they get the vibe that you aren't as keen to get physical with them as the other guys, they will be all over you.

Tinder and Bumble are location-based, so people a woman knows that also use these platforms will see her on it.

Part of the casual sex culture is being discreet. A woman can't have her friends and co-workers knowing that she regularly has casual sex with guys from the internet. So she inserts in her profile that she's not like that and isn't looking for that.

Everyone knows Tinder/Bumble are for hookups, but the polite thing women do is to pretend that these platforms are "whatever you make of them", and they all claim to know people who met their long-term significant others on Tinder and that these are real dating sites that some people (not them!) just use for hooking up.

Just pretend you didn't see that line, match if you match, and message as normal, set up a meeting, escalate, and see where things go. Don't tell her it's just a hook-up. They don't consider first date sex that turns into a one-night stand a hook-up. At least they can say they were trying to have a real date.
