So when I'm 70 I don't walk and feel like I'm 95

I had chronic back pain at the age of 24. Significant enough to warrant pain management and an MRI.

Today my back is only getting stronger and stronger. I can do more, stay out later, fuck longer, etc. This is 100% from lifting, core conditioning, and body awareness (posture) which results from learning my body and training it.

A recent plate commented that "it's the tight cut that looks sexy why are you trying to build muscle?"

"Stronger is better."

"But.. why? I don't get it."

Picked her up and put her against the wall. No more questions. Shy smile.

Keep it up to many people take health for granted but it will catch up to them.

It always does.

I mean, unless you get hit by a bus when you're mid twenties

Don't underestimate flexibility then. I know plenty of old guys who are strong as hell (lifetime of lifting) but you still walk like sticks because they never stretched.

I do yoga.

Because it's the only tool that will help me achieve a body as close as my expectations for myself, lifting also taught me discipline, sacrifice and hard work, and overall I enjoy it all, the process and the results.

No matter what your goals are- unless your goal is to be a worthless piece of shit- lifting is either the most efficient means to that end, or a very useful ancillary job.

That, and no matter what else is going on in my life, the iron never lies to me.

When I started I wanted to look better and not be fat. Now I miss it when I'm not doing it, it's like a cigarette or drink craving, but it's good for you.

[–]ouselesso 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because setting goals and having self discipline is important to me. The dedication to self bleeds into other parts of your life. I've never felt so driven before.

To look good naked.

Because I'm vein by always trying to improve myself. Also to screw like a beast. I've always had the stamina, just not the strength to throw her around like she's being screwed by stallion or a stud. No more steer here.

  • I fucking love looking at myself in the mirror. I have a big mirror in my room and often times I just take my shirt off and stare at my body.
  • I love the feeling of ripping my shirt off in bed with a new girl and watching the look at her face as she takes my body in.
  • I love when girls run their hands over my abs or feel my biceps while I'm fucking them.
  • I love seeing how my body changes in response to routines, cardio, and nutrition.

Cause I fucking love guzzling down my steroids

Cause she has some nice steroid tits

[–]InnateMachiavellian -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm super narcissistic, I lift because it makes me look good naked and so that I'm better than the majority.

[–]SexySmexxy -1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because after that first month when you feel your abs are a bit harder, your biceps are a bit bigger, your glutes feel much firmer when you touch them.

You notice that you tend to look at girls for longer, you notice more girls checking you out.

You notice you can lift a weight that you couldn't lift last week, you notice people start to treat you a bit better.

You notice some people get jealous (absolutely orgasmic) and then you feel like a bucker of dirty scum when you miss a workout.
