These women are accustomed to men with no self-respect tripping over each other to kill each other just to have a sexless date with each of those women.

When a man doesn't act this way they're shocked.

Women love attention, likes, friend requests , upvotes, hell we can take this further with makeup, designer bags, anything that outwardly demonstrates value or validates their worth.

You in particular and your attention are a source of validation. When women Don't get the attention they want from the men they want it presents a negative perception of her value.

Basically they need you to "man up" and text them every day to help them feel better about themselves. Sounds fun right?

Let's say friendship is a marketplace, we're people are willing to exchange favors as long as they get roughly equal value. If it gets too onesided you stop associating.

Women are so used to getting things, special treatment and get out of jail cards, their perception of the value you offer (your time and effort) is appraised under market value. She doesn't do the hard work, she uses "proxy power" to get one of her orbiters to do it for her.

She pays in this with her social capital. (Nothing, attention and some flattering if need be) Purely in comparison of you vs other 'merchants', she considers this demand to be reasonable exchange (a fair deal for her time and attention for your effort).

You broke contact, which means no deal, this surprised her, because what you're saying is that her 'goods' are not worth it. (Innate value vs your acquired value)

This may be one of the first run ins with reality and a indication she's at or over 'the wall'. They may not call it that, but she subconsciously knows what that is, she's just not willing to accept this.

Men and women both appreciate attention and being responded to... It is a bit rude to leave people hanging in my opinion if you have shown interest. You don't owe them anything, but you could say you aren't interested. Don't you find it annoying when a girl you are interested in will seem interested and then stop responding out of nowhere.

Some people feel entitled to a response when they think you are lucky to hold their attention (often the higher value partner) or if they have connected with you in some way (like friends, family, fwb, plates, etc.) I have no clue how close you were with them or how you dealt with the situations but it could have come across as rude and not just them feeling entitled. Otherwise, what you did isn't a big deal.

It's the woman's version of r/niceguys. Their whole life they've been worshipped (if they're pretty) and you've not only thrown that trend on tilt, but if you truely are ignoring, you've shattered it. Just a tantrum. Take it as a big compliment.

If you're of high enough value and you ignore their obvious advances they feel rejected. Usually mentally ill women throw a trantrum to see if they can Beta guilt/scare you into giving them attention.
