I am very new to trp (21M). I'm not sure what brought me here. My life isn't in turmoil but I was seeking knowledge and truth. So after spending five hours reading the sidebar (which I'm still working on), I was pleased to find the answers I was looking for.

I'm a skeptic, however. But I'm prepared to learn more. The red pill is a hard pill to swallow and it goes against some of my beliefs. One of these major beliefs I had was about marriage.

So after learning about how women can never match up to the standards of what men expect in terms of love and the corrupt foundation our society has made to support women in cases of divorce, I can't see why anyone would ever choose marriage. Is it possible to have a lifetime marriage without having to worry about trust and commitment? Or is that a blue pill fantasy? And if that is the truth about marriage, is the only solace to marriage that the person you will be with is worth it?
