Wife's step father molested her when she was younger. I have to see him pretty regularly. What is the best rp way to continue handling it?

It seems like all women say they have been molested at some point. Maybe it happened, maybe it didn't. One thing is for sure, women love playing victim and getting attention from it.

Sounds like you're letting it rent alot of space in your head. It doesn't sound like she is (since she only brought it up once years ago). There isn't anything to be done about it now. You were not there, you don't know what actually happened. I would just let it go.

Only married for 2 years. Tell her you won't see her dad, period. She can take it or leave it. Or just divorce. I have no desire to have molester grandpa for my kids.

THough you might come to a very dreadful conclusion, exclude the step father in this equation. Look out over the next 30 years. How much do you think she'll eventually use this to avoid having sex with you; another paternal figure in her life? When she's pregnant? When she's had a stressful week at work? When the therapist says she's got PTSD?

How many times are you willing to have her hold up that card as a means of NOT having sex with you? Especially when she sees you emotional about her step father?

It WILL effect you eventually. How much is too much?

I would be curious to know whether it was genuine molest or whether she was too young to remember herself and was told she was molested. Not too get too dark about it, but I work with abused children and you wouldn't believe how often false allegations get thrown around, especially when stepparents are involved, and adults use young, nonverbal children as ammunition because they can coach and manipulate them. Meaning implanting false memories thru coaching in order to get back at someone. Then before you know it, the kid's older and articulates they were molested, but during a forensic interview they can't actually recall anything about the event.

If you're pretty sure it occurred, then pray the dude gets hit by a car and hopefully that will happen.

To be honest RP is a terrible place to come to for relationship advice, a lot of these other responses are fucked up. Doubt her as a liar? So many women lie about being abused? How will this affect sex?

Jesus christ guys she was abused, this dude needs to prioritise being a good husband. I think the first thing you should do is take care of your wife (and she take care of you) and not come to redpill for advice. Give one of the women's subs a go

So. Your wife was molested by her step-father, but still sees him on family functions? Does this sound right to you? Is this what you think a rational person would do? Or, does this seem more like something someone, who lied, would do, to play a victim? Are there other indicators she's lying? Does she hug him? Smile at him? Joke around? Speak fondly of family trips, etc?
