I'm currently at university (in UK, not US if that changes things), and my course doesn't have the most interesting girls, so I know that I need to get myself out there somehow, but I'm inexperienced when it comes to relationships (one attempt and one rejection so far, talked to a few girls who seemed to be interested in me, but didn't bother moving on for few reasons).

I don't club at all as I don't think it's my kind of thing (friend told me that there isn't a point going to a club if you're not planning on getting pissed/drunk, and I don't do that for few reasons, mainly a. Don't necessarily want to drink myself till I black out b. Drinking a bit more/too much alcohol messes up my skin and acne flares up.

Signing up to societies etc would be a good way for sure, but then the problem of 'how to approach and spark interest' in girls arises.
