Also 29M. Late bloomer and minimal dating experience. I’ll say focus on yourself, make sure you’re over your previous relationship. If there is anything you can do to improve your attractiveness, (dressing better, gym, fun hobbies, etc) start working on those. Go out with friends and meet girls there. Nothing wrong with getting on the apps either (you can do well if you’re conventionally attractive)

35M here just out of a 10 year relationship so I feel you. It will probably feel like you will never find that again and that you have to start again from the beginning. That is exactly what it is. Especially if you got comfy in the previous relationship. This is what I am doing...

Learning to take good photos/writing a bio for OLD.

Making sure I have moved past the previous relationship. It's okay to take some time to do this and be alone for a while.

Work on improving your inner state, not just for dating but for being okay with the way things are at the moment.

Learn to socialise again and meet new people. Especially if you were like me and discarded most people because a relationship was enough.

Workout, improve your looks, shave, get a haircut, look after yourself, buy better clothes.

Research how to be more successful with women, read books, look at Youtube videos, scroll on this subreddit.

Be more interesting and get out there and just improve your communication/conversation skills.

Finally except that it will be a long road and it's okay to take your time because it will take a while to get the success you want. It might be a hugr mountain for you to climb, but it will be worth it if you put in the effort. I promise.

Decide what kind of investment you are willing to make. Are you looking for a few tips and will go out once in a while, or do you want to take lots of action and learn game?

YouTube is the best resource, but you may not be able to spot the best coaches.

If you want to put some effort into this, seek out coaches that say things like “game isn’t something you do, it’s something you are. “ it’s not about the lines, it’s about self development of your social skills, confidence, and inner beliefs. Not tactics and lines.

Either way, you have to play the numbers game. So look into how you’re going to do that. Examine you’re location, see what options you have.
