Without going into too much, I'll keep this short and sweet. This isn't oneitis, I'm just curious about this encounter. Advice appreciated.

My game has been pretty good, getting better and better, but one place it has been lacking is at the gym. Something about shitting wear you eat, and the whole vibe just hasn't let me game girls there.

Anyway, today this girl, an HB8, was doing some squats. I just got in and was talking with a employee about my weekend, etc. she was in the vicinity so I made sure to talk to someone at least.

So after talking to the employee, I'm getting ready to do my squats as well. My opener was something like;

"uh oh you're not gonna make me look bad are you"

(can't remember exactly what she said)

Pretty quickly she asks me my name, and shakes my hand.. IOI?

I said that her form looks good, and to watch mine. We chatted about how I never see girls squat, and how they are so afraid of weights, and spend all their time on cardio etc. She agreed completely, and it all seemed to go over well. Told her she should ditch the foam cushion. She said she's not as hardcore and it bruises her back but maybe next time. Who does she have to impress looks around, then she kinda backtracks almost to not offend me with that one.

I continue with my workout, thinking... Damn I should say something and get the # or a meet. Unfortunately I don't, and she finishes her workout before me.

To my surprise, before she leaves, she initiates contact while my back is turned and I'm like "oh shit you scared me" (she really did I was basically staring out the window) and wishes me a good workout and I say I'll see her next time.

DAMN, again chumped out.

Couple things.

  1. She seems to be very friendly with everyone, talking to one or two other members besides me. I do as well, but wtf she's more alpha then me so far.

  2. Bubbly personality. I mean it's cool, but is there any particular way to act with her? Sometimes I end up mirroring , I'm thinking I should just be cool per usual.

  3. Young? I mean early-mid 20's. I'm 27, have a crappy job, and live with mom.

  4. Get the # next time I see her? Or flirt a bit more each time, and then go for a killshot?
