Look man, I give you kudos for your post, but get this shit outta here.

I'll break it down barney style for you and all you guys reading.

If you even think in the terms of alpha and beta, then you're not even anywhere near your pseudo definition of alpha.

To go and even perceive the two as any extremes is openly admitting of some hierarchical scale in which you have to abide by. Which is exactly against the whole "alpha" mindset many of you aim and strive to be like.

Does that make sense?

When you sit and ~~being~~ begin to commit to an action, you're already pre-rendering and analyzing what you're doing in eyes of OTHERS.

Should I do this? Or should i do that? Well this is beta, that's alpha, let's do that. How about you just be yourself? and JUST BE REAL

There is no fuckin alpha or beta, there is you, your obstacles, your intuitions and your ability to get yourself what you want and need.

Confidence and perfection are two different things. Nobody has the ability to feel like he's the shit every moment of every day. They're hundreds of variables that work into everyday interactions that make the game so fun and interesting. Just because an individual thinks he's alpha does not make it so. Take David DeAngelo. He thinks he's the shit. And it makes sense, successful with women, successful with his business, my spirit would be lifted too. But he is one of the corniest mother fuckers of all time. None of his jokes make me laugh, and sometimes things he says are completely unbelievable. I never take posts on alpha males seriously because of the unreasonably high fabrication history of the Internet. People have twisted this alpha male ideology into a creepy 'better than thou' kind of thing that constantly puts others down, which is not right. For example, I've read experiences with different PUA groups like RSD, where the instructor has this fantasy of authority and takes it on himself to fuck with and try to take their students pick ups, friends, and even girlfriends. I find this behavior shallow, and not what the game is about, which should be motivating and uplifting to your students, making whoever does it feel good in the process. I suspect many who are in too deep on these ideas can't seem to realize that you cant worry about being alpha all the fucking time, you should strive to be someone who Is constantly meeting new people, having fun, dating women, being friendly and living life. The other things will fall into place, and you will learn the other stuff as time progresses, which in the long run will make you into the person that you want to become.

This is pretty much to the point, and a good one at that. It was only yesterday that another user (Who shall not be named) was casting a dichotomy of "Beta"s and "Alpha"s, judging others and claiming his newfound superiority. My point by bringing him up is that, no one, whether in the this dicussion, out of this discussion, "beta" or not, deserves to be looked down upon due to your standing, socially, financially, physically, politically, sexually, etc.

It should be EVERYONE's objective to enrich their own lives, as well as those around them. If this is the way in which people acted, the old saying "Life's not fair" would be nothing more than a lie. So yes, your post does give out some value, and it is that you should be the best person you can for yourself, and the best person you can for EVERYONE.

I think everyone can be alpha. Being alpha means outcome independence, DGAF attitude, laughs at things that would piss other guys off, self-amused, speaks loudly and confidently... all of these things are attainable by everyone, including women.

Every time I visit this sub I see someone make a comment on how treating women like a dick makes you alpha because it shows you don't care.

No, these behaviors are from chodes pretending to be men. They confuse being independent with being a dick. For instance, "No I don't think what you said is correct, because x y z" vs "No, what you said is fucking stupid!" Both are dissenting opinions but one displays dissenting confident opinion, where the other show's insecure neediness to be right.

Often the "be an asshole" approach" is confused. The reason being is because sometimes it works. It preys on insecurity. Some girls will fall for that because they are insecure. However, it's not the right way to go.

Sometimes women will call you a dick, but they don't mean it in the asshole way, they mean it in the way because you call them out on their shit when most guys don't. For instance, a girl will say something like, "I believe in astrology" and I'd respond with, "You're kidding me right? Do you believe the earth is flat too?! Hahaha" Now, she'll obviously call me a dick. But I wasn't trying to be mean, I was just calling her out on her shit, and asserting my opinion.

This is where people get confused. She called me a dick, right? So obviously being a dick works? So someone that's new will respond with, "You believe in astrology? You're fucking dumb!"

Don't confuse the two. It seems like you're seeing the light and are understandably a little confused. Trust me, a lot are!

Most alphas won't talk about how alpha they are. If you're alpha, you're comfortable about yourself and don't need to let everyone else know it; you know that it's understood.

Absolutely. A HUGE problem revolves around this. If you are X, you don't have to tell people you are X. People aren't stupid, they'll find out who you are. If you start trying to say who you are, it's the same as owning a Louis Vuitton bag. Those bags are just around to prove to others they are classy, without actually proving they are classy. Among people with money, these things are considered EXTREMELY tacky.

If you feel like you're alpha sometimes and not others, you're not an alpha. Alpha is a state of being that results from your self confidence and charisma. It is not something that goes away because being alpha stems from who you are (not vice versa)

Absolutely right. While "alpha" isn't a perfect term, I get the point. When a person is confident in who they are, they have nothing to prove.

If you're doing something to manipulate a girls emotions, you're probably not alpha

Absolutely right again. If you have to manipulate someone, you are subtly insecure with yourself and outcome dependent.

It all comes down to becoming a man, and I'm glad you are aware of this!

Well, the first statement is 1. Nonsense. Maybe some people write that here, but definitely not everybody at all times. 2. The first statement is untrue, but you're only masking your sexuality and interest towards a girl, and you are hiding your vulnerability.

Reading further down the post, I must say you're a tad late with this discussion. Like a year or two, because this has been discussed many, many times before. Slowly the people who think this way (mostly referred as 'fake alpha's') are fading.

Hate the fact that you say not ever one can be a leader. That's something a close friend of mine always states. Either you are a follower or a leader and is true, but when it comes to stating that you are a leader and the other person is not.. that's the weird part. No one determines what you can do or what you can't. You think I can't turn into an Alpha male?
