As a reminder to everyone to take it easy and not to get off-balance when talking to girls, I want you tell you about a small error i made that's derailing my progress with a new girl I met.

Our meeting was friendly, flirty and she added me on Facebook seemingly out of nowhere a week later. I asked her to smoke a blunt sometime, and she was very agreeable. 2 days later I asked her again, and she was unavailable, though she said she wanted to.

Instead of rescheduling right then, I hit her up again 2 days later and started some idle conversation, and tried to break into the convo about our plans after I felt long enough had passed, but I was too eager and off key. She said "oh I see", and from that point on she would talk to me, but started being stabdoffish and wary about spending time with me.

It really hit me when I thought about inviting a male friend I hadn't seen in a while to smoke the blunt I rolled, and I couldn't imagine putting in that level of effort into getting him out.
