I've been struggling with this dilemma over a flaw in "abundance mentality" that permeates the whole seduction belief system. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, but I just don't know how to reconcile it with what I notice happens with a lot of AFC dudes that land hot chicks.

I know that a big part of seduction is the idea that Alphas are the only ones that get hot girls, but I wouldn't necessarily agree. I see guys all the time that end up with really high quality women, even though they are fairly beta - supplicate, need validation, etc.

When we get to talking and I find out about how they met their girlfriends/wives the story is the same: they were friends, or knew each other, and he just worked his way into her life over a nearly unbreakable tolerance of her bad behaviors.

Everything I know about seduction says this is the wrong way to go about things. I've even dated a fair amount of high quality women, only to drop them because they start exhibiting bad behavior. While some really were just cock teasers or validation whores, there were others that were just doing what women do: shit test.

In hindsight, I see that if I had only been more persistent and just dealt with the shit tests with unwavering desire, then it would've worked out. I know the "negative side" is that these girls would just walk all over a guy the second they know they can get what they want, but that's not what I've seen.

Typically, a girl reaches a turning point where she just "falls head over heels" for the guy, and then not only are the shit tests over, but she also becomes totally submissive to him (not necessarily in behavior, but just in that she becomes completely committed to their relationship).

It's possible that over time she starts her shit tests again, but the point is that breaking through high quality women's bullshit is to force through her tests with unwavering resolve to get her. But again, I'm not sure if this is exactly right, because it just feels like you're taking a girl's shit test because you value her too much.

I suppose I'll have to field test this a little more, but has anyone else found any value in "acting the beta", but only when it comes to really high demand, high quality women?
