I've only been in long and shortish relationships and don't don random encounters, and certainly not much in a social scene. The question with hookups and ONSs I don't understand is what happens after. So let's say you agree to hookup and you have a very short relationship. How do you react when you see each other after? Do you just hangout like nothing happened and see if sparks fly again? Do you just ignore each other? Is this what people who hangout regularly in a scene do? Is there some kind undercover communication going on: people who've hooked up are just ignoring each other? Or instead do you actively try to avoid each other. Its a small world and if you hangout in similar social scenes, you are bound to meet someone you hooked-up with again?
