Ive been long term lurker on this sub and i have learnt a great deal and made significant progress. Im in confused state and would definitely like some advice.

I'm 29, male, single, fit and I've been told i'm good looking. I have interesting hobbies. I travel often, I like photography, latin dancing, hiking, backpacking and i'm passionate about what i do and it shows. I live in bay area and work in tech and I'm east indian who moved here couple of years ago.

I have no problem meeting women through dating sites. I have also approached women during the day at grocery stores and coffee shops and i can say i can talk to strangers comfortably and have had some success.

Ideally, I want to find a long term partner who has following qualities (which i have elaborated at the end of post) but I'm not finding anyone who meets little bit of everything.

So until then, my strategy is to go on dates and have fun and not be exclusive. This way i can remain social, work on communication skills, have fun which includes good sex.

If i get too choosy and only go on dates with people who have all the qualities , i wont be able to go on dates for long time, i wont be able to enjoy companionship and good sex. So my strategy is to go on dates even when my date meets only some of the criteria, enjoy companionship and have good sex and go with the flow. What do you call this? Is this short term dating or casual dating?

Sometimes i know from the get go that this person is not good for long term but meets short term goal (companionship, great dates, good sex) . What should i tell this person? I don't want to waste my partners time if they are only interested in serious dating.

Is this the right way to go?

<-----> These are the qualities I'm looking for in this long term partner (Convince me if im off somewhere or need a new perspective)

Career-Minded: One who has a career (so my lifestyle is not impacted negatively by adding this person into my life) and she has something else to focus on while Im working so I'm not the only thing happening in her life. I grew up in a middle class family and i don't want to be the sole provider. (This means i don't want to be the person who ends paying for both people every time we go on nice dates). I can't choose my parents or siblings. I can choose my partner so i want to do it correctly.

Fit: I consider myself athletic. around 10-11% body fat and i put a lot of time into it. I would like to find someone who shares this interest. I don't necessarily mean she has to be super fit but she has to be working towards a goal and making little progress. Im not attracted to obese or little bit extra.

Age: 2-3 years around my age.

Growth mindset: Curiosity to learn new things and get better and not afraid to take the difficult route and have an ass that doesn't quit.

Clean up well: Has sense of fashion, confident about her body, knows how to clean up well. (Dated a person whose wardrobe was smaller than mine, had no interest in shopping or dressing up). I should say i clean up pretty well. When we go out on nice dates, id like my partner to look good and cute.

Sex: I know i have high sex drive. i want someone who is also passionate about sex and enjoys it as much as i do.

I'm willing to compromise on these parameters but totally non-existent quality is a deal breaker.
