No woman wants to hear "you're usually older than I go for" . If you NEED to share that info wait until you've had 5 or more good dates. Telling her there is no way you look that age I thought you we like 24! Will go over much better. Idk why guys think they are going to get laid after insulting a woman.

Imo your last message was stretching the ongoing joke too thin. Would have been a good time to become assertive in what you wanted from this. Also "poor baby" could have killed the mood, ie trying to reverse the roles after you were role playing the younger fragile thing.

1) I also think the convo is generally quite good, but you have this PUAish vibe. Having some joke in every single message you send is trying too hard. Show that you're a normal person and not a clown at some point. 2) Don't ask for the number. Suggest that she gives you her number or instagram. Or give her yours, if she adds you it's a positive sign. 3) The two points mentioned probably didn't loose you this date. I would also assume that she just met someone else or so. Happens so often in online dating... they text with 5 guys at the same time and while you were fun to talk to, another guy was more interesting at that point in time.

You're investing too much I'd say. Joke is fun and all but you're stretching it too much.

Also as someone else said, she probably was talking to many guys at same time and someone else got her preference for whatever reason out of your control.

You should be talking to multiple girls too. But I'm sure you are :)
