To add to what the Rock is saying here, A lot of what constitutes seduction is really just interacting with people and observing who reacts positively. It's not about making something happen.
So, there's nothing to "do" if someone isn't liking you getting close. It's part of the screening process which tells you to move on.
The misconception here is that seduction is about making someone like you, which is a myth perpetuated by coaches who sell products and services to lonely guys looking for shortcuts.

Also, it's important to realize that a place like a bar with loud noise which makes everyone strain to hear, is that the situation does necessitate people being closer to each other to hear each other.
So, people will be understanding of someone leaning in closer to say something if they aren't heard the first time. The important thing is to not take advantage of it to steamroller a girl.
It doesn't really mean that you have free license to get all up in a girl's space when you just met her.
It means that you may have an understanding that you can't be hurt unless you lean in, but you still have to be considerate as you lean in closer.
And you need to be ready to back up if you get an immediate negative reaction to you being in her space.
