I wanted to share as I've had a lot of success with something most would consider a faux-pas.

I've been in the game for a couple years, and recently hit a breakthrough with picking up girls. In the past, I always had a problem getting the kiss. We would have a great vibe, clear attraction, then I go for a kiss and she pulls away.

For the longest time, I thought I was lacking attraction, or maybe being to friendly. But that all changed when I changed my approach.

I was sitting with a girl, we were getting up to leave, and I simply said "before we go, can I kiss you?" She said no, then smiled, then moved in for the kiss. I later had sex with this girl, and it has worked with every girl ever since.

Why I think this works: when you move in to kiss a girl, she has an automatic response saying "I can't kiss this guy I just met". If you're a big guy like me, she might be frightened from the sudden move.

But by asking her permission, you give her a chance to prepare. You give her a chance to think "I can't just kiss this guy... but maybe I want to." It also shows confidence that you're giving her a choice, putting yourself on the line and giving her a chance to reject you.
