As a daily toker I can tell you there isn't much you can do to overcome it, just know the time and place for smoking. Obviously, don't smoke before you go out to talk to people. It will show in your body language and your energy level. I would say save it for after unless you find a girl who's also into it and wants to smoke with you. I've found it much easier to talk to and even generally vibe with when you're on the same wavelength.

Then don't smoke. Weed makes you more mellowed and involved with thoughts and introversion. So naturally you won't be extroverted.

Idk man maybe strategize better. (I don't smoke because of that reasion and I don't like feeling awkward) like maybe don't smoke till you pull a girl and then smoke with her.

i feel the same whenever i smoke in a social situation i just feel awkward to say the least i over analysis simple things and think to much meanwhile not saying much so i cut back on my use to when im home and have nothing to do.

This is why I never smoke at parties. Alcohol makes me super confident and weed makes me self conscious.

Just don't smoke when you're trying to hit on girls.

im going to stop smoking weed as well. complete confidence without it, but when i smoke i become the loser i see in my friends who just smoke all day. they are also about to get the boot for being useless for anything other than weed and eating shit food

what ive found to work is have like afew beers before smoking and it usually eliminates my social phobia without being really drunk and able to enjoy the high

You just have to remember that its a drug that is making you act/ feel this way. Honestly, even saying out loud to yourself. "the pot is making me feel this way". can make you feel a lot better. hopefully it works as well for you as it does for me
