Title sort of says it, I’m curious what the consensus is on good/bad ways to greet a girl when you meet her, and why. I’m talking handshake, hug, fist bump, kiss her hand, whatever the fuck greeting you can think of.

I sort of go by intuition, but I want to challenge my assumptions. If I try to analyze it, I feel like I see most people go for handshakes but those feel oddly formal - meanwhile hugs feel a little too friendly, presumptuous but not in a particularly productive way if you’re looking to make intentions clear.

Any thoughts?
