Can you get a girl WITHOUT approaching?

When I was in college I learned how to pick up girls without talking to them. It frustrates the hell out of my roommates when I'd get their sisters because they couldn't call me out on anything.

It was really just the nature of the apartment/house party. I've never been able to translate it into a bar scene but I'm sure it can be done.

I would basically. Just completely ignore my target for the first half of the party and make it my mission to have as much fun as possible, especially with my friends. I'd check out of the corner of my eye when she was looking my direction and would make it a point to do something "attractive" like laugh, hug another girl, anything to show social status.

Then at the end of the night I'd come in and wouldn't even need to say much because I already knew I had her.

It was fun because the method of pickup was just, well, having as much fun as possible. It works best in more intimate settings like house parties.

It became my primary method of pickup in college. Just doing things in proximity to them I knew would make them attracted to me. Didn't even have to have direct contact. The amount of fun you're having becomes magnetic and it makes girls want to be a part of it.

Introverted people deal with social interaction by extending effort. Even just a tiny amount. If you find it all boring and tedious you should probably think about what kind of woman you will attract when you project such a boring and tedious image.

If you never approach women, then you can only get girls that approach you. These women tend to be needy, they will throw themselves at men, that's what it would take to get your attention.

So yes, you must approach women. It doesn't have to be small talk, but you do have to flirt.

It's a matter of slowly dissolving the introversion. I'm an introvert myself and have been gradually kicking myself out of my shell over the last few months. It takes time and a lot of effort, but with practice, spontaneous social interaction becomes more natural. I also find that a pint or two helps in the beginning, but don't use it as a crutch every time!

I suck at socialising too but I have way more confidence when I have something to talk about other than myself. Something that has helped me is to find a hobby were you're likely to interact with girls. This way you can avoid the awkward small talk and get to know someone naturally who has the same interests.

Yes, you are afraid of talking...its why you don't want to talk to girls. Flirting is boring eh? You are just making excuses.

You don't want to push your comfort zone, which is what you need to do to get better with women. You NEED to TALK to women and FLIRT to do well with them.

So, because you don't like being teased or touched....women shouldn't either? That isn't how it works...attractive women are generally socially intelligent and know how people flirt with them (touch and teasing). Women and men often don't think and feel the same way.

Sure you can get a girlfriend without approaching...try internet dating or Speed Dating. But, you would still need to TALK to women and FLIRT...so it's the same really.

Best advice here...work on your confidence!!!!! Work on your self limiting beliefs! Approach approach approach...and it will all get easier. Push your comfort zone. It's all about motivation...you either want to change and get better with women or you don't.

Is this a defense mechanism or do you genuinely think it's boring to flirt with a girl? Once you 'get' the girl you have to keep the attraction as well, and this involves small talk, spending time together and flirting.
