He surrenders to the process of courting his way into a woman's pants in the whirlwind romance manner. He doesn't concern himself with pride or logic, he doesn't care if he looks silly or desperate, he doesn't care if what the woman wants doesn't make logical sense to him, he doesn't care how ridiculous or complicated or crazy some of it might seem. He surrenders to the process and does whatever it takes to sweep her off her feet (and into bed). A "casanova" man is the type who loves the chase and the dance and the whole nine yards. He sees the experience as something that consumes him and to which he surrenders himself into its euphoric madness. It is this nature about the casanova man that tends to make him very successful in his endeavors, he presents like a fairytale prince, gives a woman the disney romance experience, smashes and then vanishes.

The man who tries to "seduce" projects male psychology onto females which of course tends to not work out so great most of the time. Men are instinctively wired to desire to be seduced, to respond to "come hither" signals and to be enticed by alluring sights and gestures. So much of "gaming" advice these days is very bizarre in how it instructs men to act like women ie be flashy to grab attention but then play coy and try to make her pursue. Great advice for some lesbians maybe but not men trying to bed straight women.

Casanova was famous as a seducer specifically because he could seduce just about anyone. However, don't mistake seduction for gaming or getting one-nighters.

By today's standards, he would be breaking every single 'rule' that we normally apply to modern seduction, but that's because we are trying to move at ball-flattening speed compared to him. We are also not creating nearly as deep a connection as he did with his counterparts.

Casanova's biggest strength in seduction was that he would completely and utterly devote himself to the object of his affection. He would learn her daily routines, her favorite places in the market to shop, her family and friends, her hobbies, and absolutely anything he possibly could about her. He would give all of himself, in time, money, and attention, to the object of his affection in his efforts to find a way to woo her. Often he would be spurned time and again, only to come back to the same woman and attempt a new approach. He entered their psyches by seeming to know everything about them and be utterly fascinated by them. In conversations, he would listen to every word and use them to pick up new clues and ideas for future moves to try. His goal, solely and singularly, was to woo his counterpart into love. The thrill was in the chase, in the journey toward love, not the goal of a short tryst ending in a 5 second orgasm.

For this reason, he said he "surrenders". That is to say, he surrendered all of himself to the target of his affection. He surrendered his time, his interest in others, any worldly wealth or possession he had, all in the interest of her. Or more specifically, in creating a love in her, while it was merely an infatuation for him.

It's not a strategy that would be promoted on this sub, and honestly would come across as supremely creepy in today's world, but for his time and culture it was unbelievably effective. He was essentially the ultimate simp... but with the charisma and charm of the ultimate alpha. This combination allowed him to truly surrender himself to the women he loved, but still be attractive and highly successful. After all, how many sister threesomes or duchesses have you bedded?

None of these answers are right. It means that he flips the script and women chase him. When you convey abundance and are generally high value and cool, all he has to do is allow yourself to be subtly and slowly "won over" to get the girl by qualifying, teasing and just having fun... in other words, surrendering.

I seduce = I entice her to sleep with me.

I surrender = I make her surrender to me = The girl "gives" herself emotionally to you. She's more submissive/obedient/worship-like. And accepts everything he does, submitting her willpower/desires to him.

That's what I think, without having read much about Casanova.
