So, last wednesday I went out clubbing with a couple of friends, the whole night is a bit of a blur but I met this girl who was friends with some of my friends.

Managed to #close and k-close her and her friends were saying she was into me and whatever. Gave her a text the next morning just something light about a racist guy in the kebab shop the night before.

I waited two days with no reply and tried giving it another shot, texted her something I read from this subreddit, that if i was marking her ability to text back she'd be getting an F. Another day passed and I thought whatever obviously not interested, she then replied apologising and explaining that she was terrible at texting back and an F was generous, other chit chat like where did i work and how I'd been. I didn't text back for a couple of hours and she texted me AGAIN saying that I was now a D on texting, then AGAIN straight after saying that she had gone up to a C.

I waited a couple of hours and texted her back saying that I actually had three jobs (DHV), and that I'd been out the last 3 nights so was hungover (DHV) which is why I hadnt texted her back. I also agreed with her being bumped up to a C and said if she made it to A+ she could have a reward. What had she been up to blah blah. This was around 2 days ago and still no reply.

Anyway, from something I saw on her facebook I KNOW she is actually terrible at texting back, but I'm not sure how to proceed, do I either keep waiting several days at a time for replies, do I just wait until tonight and if no reply just give up on her/freeze her out? (I'm gonna bump into her at graduation ball in 2 weeks). Or have I made a mistake somewhere/been strung along.

My plan was just to wait for her next text and then just go into asking her out for drinks.

Quick summary of text log:

Me: I have a vague memory of a racist guy in the chicken shop? What are you up to today.

Her: Haa I cant remember but it rings some bells. Just packing up as I'm leaving tomorrow.

Me: Packing and moving is such a chore, I dont envy you. I got called into work early and just had lunch in town with a friend. What are your plans for your last night in Brighton?

These three were within a couple of hours of eachother...

After two days I sent the one about her being crap at texting back or whatever.

Three days after that:

Her: Hiiii so I'm pretty crap at texting - sorry. I think an F grade was quite generous. How you been? Moving out was a definite mission!! Where you work?

Her again: So far you're on a D grade

Her again: And i'm coming up to a C wooo

Me: some shit about having three jobs and being hungover and asking how she was.
