Well the reason she is facebooking is probably because you guys already lack connection. She's being impolite with the cell phone, so shes probably not that decent a human being, but hey..

It sounds like you're at least somewhat inexperienced so... perhaps you should read a book like Models by Manson and then take time go out and apply it. Get feedback..

You're not going to get rid of the phone btw, thats nonsense. You cant throw walls away, or move them for that matter. You have to climb over them skillfully and comfortably enough that you are percieved as being experienced, and, connecting the metaphor back to game here, as not being a threat to someone's livelihood. You must add or, at minimum, maintain their value. If you are not doing that, you will get the phone so that they can save face.

First time posting here and far from an expert. That being said, when I'm with a girl and she's rudely on her phone, I wait for her to set it down. As I see her setting it down I pull mine out and smile like I'm reading a text (very quickly) and then apologize for being distracted and tell her I forgot to silence it. Silence it, put it away and continue talking. Almost always she'll do the same. And if she doesn't, I end it. I absolutely hate social media dependant girls.

if she is on her phone facebooking, she isn't interested in you. She has to be trying to get your attention, not the other way around. It is the definition of desperate orbiter to be trying to get her attention when she's focused on something else. You need to be the center of gravity and the focus of attention. If a girl goes on her phone I disappear; I make her understand right away that I am not a second priority to anybody or anything.

Tell her to put it down? You have to do this in a way that shows you expect her to put it down. If she resists be playful, be creative. Do what is aligned with your personality.

If she was more interested you wouldn't encounter this problem so the best advice is approach more women, get more experience and think hard about how you could have done better after each day of interacting.

Leave. If she was interested in you she'd be paying attention to you and not her phone. There's a chance she may reconsider that if you show that you won't put up with bs like that when you get up to leave. Even if she does i'd still just excuse myself and find someone else to spend my time with.
