Go light on the overpriced theater snacks and soda (yeah I'm a cheapskate) and go for a dessert afterward, somewhere like ice cream or whatever. Go to other environments with her. Coffee before, movie, dessert, you have bounced twice and she has seen you in enough places to feel like she knows you.

I am definitely someone who advises against movie dates early on in dating...but I did it with my girlfriend because in that ONE instance, it made sense, and it worked.

So...at this point...you've decided on this movie date. fine. If at all possible, use the movie to hold her hand so you are at least physically escalating. Will make it easier Kiss her afterwards at some point (that evening).

I agree that you can take her for ice cream or something afterwards. Keep building rapport and if possible escalating.

Also...keep her in the seat when it is over for 8 minutes because...there is short preview of the next villain at the end.

At least see the movie first and then go out for coffee, that way you could talk about the movie if you had to.

In this situation I would still invite her to coffee or something first. After that if you feel you are hitting it off with her go "We should check out that new X-Men movie" and go see it. That way you build rapport, might build some attraction and might be able to go somewhere during the movie. Vs having the movie being the whole date and not really being able to go anywhere.

Also to show you want more than friends, put your balls on the table and go for a kiss, do the kino you gotta do and talk the talk. Gotta risk losing the girl to do anything.

If it's a girl that I don't know very well, I would go to the cinema 1st then, eat at a restaurant afterwards. That way, if the conversation starts going nowhere, you can just talk about the film until the conversation moves elsewhere.

Yo, Black Dragon here, my advice: don't do it. X-Men is going to be playing for quite a while, so you have time to get there. Try another date plan first, so you can get to know each other. Once primary introductions are completed, then X-Men is a great thing to bring up to get the second date. The entire point of the first date is to get to the second date, and if you have X-Men in your back pocket; then that makes it easier for you. Make sure you kino during the first date to help escalate.

Easy. Claim that you don't know very much about the X-Men, and you've seen none of the movies or you haven't seen First Class. Ask her if she will help you get caught up at your place.

You now have her in your territory and are making her jump through your hoop. You reward her with the cinema date for coming over.

And if you go out for coffee with her, do not do it before the movie. If you are anything like me you'll be pissing the entire movie or have to make a bowel movement. Coffee stimulates your system.

Download a CAM version of the movie and invite her to your place to watch it.

Watch the film then do something afterwards so you both can discuss the film. Also, if you're going to see x-men remember to stay for the after credits scene!
